Let's get real. Is this you?
-
I feel like I’m not good enough as a wife, mom, or Christian.
-
I carry shame from past mistakes and feel unworthy of God's grace.
-
I feel stuck in the same struggles and sins no matter how hard I try.
-
I constantly compare myself to other moms and feel like I fall short.
-
I struggle with anxiety but I don’t fully know how to trust God with it.
You are not alone.
What You'll Get From This Book
"Hiding is Overrated is such a powerful, grace-filled message that so many women need. Your words invite women into freedom, and that’s such a beautiful thing." ~ Yvette
Here's What's Inside:
Hiding is Overrated is an interactive Bible study that is designed to explore the principles found in 2 Corinthians 12:9. Many of us make our best effort to keep our insecurities hidden – from God and our loved ones. We filter our lives, put on a brave face, and work tirelessly to clean ourselves up so that we can feel acceptance and love. But in covering up our flaws, we often block ourselves from the very places God wants to shine through.
Along with reflection questions, creative exercises, and guided video instruction, Hiding Is Overrated will help you embrace the grace of Jesus, release the weight of unrealistic expectations, and step into a life where you are fully seen and fully free.

Hey, I'm Shayla!

I'm a wife, mom, and a woman who knows what it’s like to feel unworthy of God’s grace. I was always spiraling about doing everything the "right way" and was always left with feeling like nothing was clicking. But God met me right there in the middle of my mess and showed me that shame has no place in a heart He’s redeemed.
That’s why I wrote Hiding is Overrated. Because if you’ve ever felt like you have to clean yourself up before coming to God or for Him to use you, I've got good news for ya!
